A Proper Snowman

Who would have thought that the snowman snow would come to Austin. I finally got to show Gennie how to build a proper snowman. Hers are usually about a foot tall.



I guess "Fred" is pretty good since he was crafted from the contents of Gennie's desk. But I helped her build a more life-sized one.



She was amazed at how we could make such large snowballs, and now understands why the snow has to be just right for snowmen. Amazingly enough, Gennie wishes for the weather to stay colder so that "George" will not melt so soon.
